The observation hide for brown bears is located in the Notranjska region in Slovenia, which, along with the adjacent Kočevska region, is one of the most densely populated areas with brown bears in the world. It is estimated that there are 900 bears in the area.
You can book an observation tour from May 15th to September 6th. Observation sessions typically start at 3 p.m. and extend until 7 p.m.. To reach the observation hide, you need to drive for about 15 minutes and then walk 700 meters. We will present our code of conduct to all guests before the start of the observation sessions.

After arrival, guide will provide you all detailed information about bear photography trip and rules of behaviour at the bear hide.
Departures to bear hides are every day between 3.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. (guide will inform you about exact time of departure at the arrival).
